A Joyous Celebration of Easter!

A unique and special celebration took place at St. Thomas this Easter Sunday.

The combined Easter Holy Eucharist and Baptism service took on extra meaning for all who were there to share in the joy and promise of Resurrection Sunday and the Eastertide.

Our dynamic new Priest, The Reverend Lorie Martin, not only celebrated her first Easter service as an ordained minister, but we at St. Thomas are also celebrating our 150th Anniversary as an Anglican parish in historic Chilliwack. Prevailing despite some rough years, we couldn’t help but feel great hope and jubilation, as we emerged from Lent and Holy Week with reborn energy and purpose.

Congratulations and love to the newly baptized, Wesley and Victoria. To the many service volunteers who decorated the sanctuary and participated in this day: gratitude, and appreciation for all do to make St. Thomas so very special!
