Dear Friends,
It's the middle of March...I mean May! As the latest storm system blows through we're all wondering when we'll actually be able to say "we've had a week of nice weather!" Not that I'm complaining, really. We live in such a beautiful part of the world and with such amazing resources complaining lasts but for a moment.
I pray that during this Easter season that "with the eyes of your heart enlightened, you may know what is the hope to which God has called you, what are the riches of God's glorious inheritance amongst the saints" Eph 1:18. Hope, not just any hope, but hope that God is making the world new, despite what we perceive in our immediate or the world's present circumstances is crucial to our faith. Truth be told, there has never been a decade when severe crises have not wracked our world and through it all, the Kingdom of God has continued to move amongst the nations, prodding, calling and occasioning growth. This is my hope! Let's share this hope together at this Sunday's Holy Eucharist!
