St Thomas parishioners are collecting water-resistant and/or woolen socks for Swallowtail Ministry which provides food and supplies directly to those folks who ask for them. This ministry also provides these vulnerable people with clinical counseling for the trauma that has led them to the street.
It is run by Jay and Jolene Holland, members of St. Thomas. Socks can be dropped off in the box in the narthex.
With the cold damp weather comes additional hardship. Many thanks to all those who have already donated warm socks. Please stay tuned for upcoming drives throughout the year.
