(STIS) is a not-for-profit organization whose aim is to provide high-quality, cutting-edge treatment and therapies to persons impacted by trauma, but for whom accessing treatment may be made more difficult by barriers such as poverty, sex, race, gender identity, or other systemic and/or institutional obstacles.
With the help of Jolene Friesen and her colleagues, many people are able to find homes and function independently, while others simply need support, free of judgement, in order stay safe.
Swallowtail Ministry's needs vary throughout the year. Currently, the homeless camp is under water and have lost nearly everything. They would appreciate donations of clean bedding, and personal care items (including pads and tampons) are scarce.
